I have always wanted to catch a muskalunge when i go course fishing pike are nearly always the top of my list, after perch.

Perch are nice, sunfish can be, too. Catch a few of those an fry em up at the fire.

thats what im talking about.
here in the river by my house there are some nice hand sized (i have big hands) bluegill and sunfish...catch 'em, gut 'em, scrape 'em, poke a stick thru 'em and cook 'em over the campfire. mm mm good.
im a catfish man myself as far as freshwater...salt water i like speckled trout and swordfish. snapper is good too.

mmmmmm I would eat as sushimi personally when its freshly caught or cook it in lemon juice the citric acid sears the flesh without adding the heat makes it extremely delicate a little olive oil and some rocket and its party time . I might have to go cook something now you guys have made me hungry.

ooooo yeah sashimi is awesome! yep, just a little really hot fire for just a second and then POW right down the old pie hole (which, being cooked, technically is tataki). i like ebi the most. shrimp yum yum.

European perch are different from the sea perch, there a member of the bass family but are WAY to boney to eat.
