The e99 Avant is actually a pretty decent gun. A friend of mine has one and he likes it. I like the paintjob on them, it looks very sweet. Spyders aren't all that reliable like he's telling you, but they work if you're just playing woodball with your friends. That's a great deal, and I hope ya have some fun with it.

well I have a spyder currently and it chops alot of balls and the bolt freezes over quickly..

but hopefully the expansion chamber will help, along with the anti chop bolt..

But the #1 main reason why i got it is because of the ricochet hopper, it looks nice.....

I got a tippmann 98 custom pro basic and I love it. I put a JJ 14" ceramic barrel with teflon on it iand it is amazing. I have never chopped a ball in it.

For $100 that's not a bad setup at all.

I have a Spyder, it's a great beginner's gun and can become a great pro's gun with the right upgrades. There's a pro team that shoots spyders, I can't remember their team name though...
