Yes lets Over Clock the living day lights out of a super computer. So maybe calculations will take .00001 seconds instead of .000025.

It'd be funny if some one seriously considered over clocking one of those bad boys. Only to have the 100+ Cores over heat

A normal computer would be up in smokes, but a super computer over heating would result in mushroom clouds hahaha.

What Is It: A petaflop computer can process one quadrillion floating-point calculations per second. That's 1,000,000,000,000,000 calculations every second.

Processors: 182,000 AMD quad-core Opterons, running at 2.3 gigahertz.


Why don't they use Core I7's ? That'd be quicker.
