Nice dude. I was a Boy Scout from the age 10 all the way up until my 18th birthday last September. Finished my project a few weeks before I turned 18 then passed by board of review last November.

Yeah I started as a Bear or something, the Pack folded for my entire webelo first year so I had to do a lot of work to get my arrow of light before I crossed over.

I tried to get my boys ( 12 and 15) into scouts years ago - they immediately saw that is would take time and work- so needless to day - no go. Love the Scouts= integrity, honesty, responsibility,etc. hard to find anybody still teaching that anymore.

It's not all work, really. Yes, you need to pick up after yourself. Mommy won't do it for you. Scouting teaches you so much. You should have forced them. Imagine what they will say about it after summer camp...

Scouting helped me so much, aside from my slight physical disability.
