Best squeaker in the world.

It's the only Microsoft product that I'll admit to liking.

And cloth is the only way to go when it comes to mouse pads.

trotter and others...
not being a gamer....I am just wondering why you guys have preferences for "hard surface" rather than just anything else :D

I am just curious what it is...is it the feel or does it have more to do with how the intended input device responds with the intended surface?

It's partly for the feel, and partly for the texture, and partly for the way it won't "bubble up" if you move your mouse quickly across the surface with pressure. At least, that's my reasoning. My desktop works, but I want something that is a separate entity and can be cleaned easier.

Looks have a bit to do with it, as well. I can go for any of the pads I have listed. Each has its strong points. I figured I would toss it out there and let the members give me some feedback. I was hoping for some who have or have had these pads.

the Nova mouse pads are flexible, but they stick to smooth-ish tables
though sometimes I prefer hard surfaces, just becaues they don't bend when you put them on a non-flat surface
