odd.. It's multitasking fine now.. see, it runs fine when it wants to..

What I generally have open at any given time:

Firefox (with several tabs open (sometimes 10+)), Winamp, Photoshop and/or Illustrator, Editplus (text editor), Ventrilo, Xfire (with several convo's going), sometimes 1 or more systems running in VMWare, and all of that stays open while I play games most of the time. That's my general usage.

I have never tried Asus, but I noticed in school computers with P3 processors, they where rather decent quality motherbaords.

I've never once had good luck with an Asus board, been through 3 of them myself in the past and I had a room mate had the same experience as well. MSI and Gigabyte have been very kind to me, though.

I love my ASUS board, works perfectly ^_^ I managed to short it several times too and it still works fine.

The place i went work experience said that Asus boards are crap and the only ones you can trust are Intel mobo's.... i just nodded my head and was like yeah you know best....
