So if its all correct, the numbers seem about right, it's Chevy's turn to make a good sports car that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to buy. Since for the past decade that has no been an option.

That just means Ford will probably change their motor setup or either lighten their cars. It's always a fight to the top.

ford does need to lighten the mustang. all though the new camaros are going to weigh close to 3800 pounds, if i remember correctly. so the camaro needs to go on a diet

There "was" a special group of people set aside to only focus on GM's performance cars. Like the C5 and C6 corvettes and more recently the V spec version of the Cadillac CTS.

That is who I was referring to. Because of the economical situation for GM, they canned that division of the company.

plenty of power can be had out of a 4cyl or 6cyl engine.
