im not familiar with 3D programs. is there an overall best, like photoshop is the best image editor? iv only heard of 3D studio max, and now Maya... witch is, or are the best 3D programs?

no gizmo. its 2d but if you're good enough you can make it look 3d.

my avatar is made in PS and looks kinda 3d
and xotix, im gona try out premiere pro, and c what i can make with that, lol just need a digitar camcorder, or a digi cam to take clips. But ima start doing some more 3d rendering and stuff like that. Thats y im not shur what cpu i should buy next, cuz im a gamer also. il prolly stick with the 3500+ but if yall have any suggestions, im open minded

The best in terms of quality is XSI.

U-Toast looks spiffy. Add textures and do some test renders. If you want a lighting script PM me and I can email it to ya. here's an example of what the script does
