Moving Mobile Homes

Anybody have any experience or remote experience with moving mobile homes?

I found a free single wide with a good exterior and the guy is willing to pay 300 bucks to who ever gets it off his land. Anybody know of a consumer vehicle that could tow this, or how much a towing place would cost? If i could rebuild this it would beat the **** outa building Box #2.

LOL I actually have experience with this... Doing it yourself is not advised.. I know people who did and it ended up tipping over LOL. Good times.

I saw many similar things already. I didnt think anything could tow a mobile home besides the big semis but wanted to be sure. Ive exhausted my options on this so i think its a no go unless this guy has it in like 2 or 3 weeks.

Talk to some people who move them for a living and see if they will work something out with you. Some won't, but others will.

I would say it's worth working something out with a local towing company...even if you have to pay them, you still aren't buying the home itself. Better deal than building another place.

If i cant afford the fee to tow the house then i cant get the house. I was looking for options but it seems a professional service is what i need.
