Martin luther kind day

You guys agree that there should be one? I dont personally. I really dont understand why he has his own day anyway? can someone explain? i know he did the i have a dream speech but i heard that they was taken from a popular black preecher from the 50's.

Since President Reagan declared it as a holiday, then I agree with it. You can go to the Martin Luther King Center Website to learn more about Dr. King and the holiday.

BTW, Dr. King is the African-American preacher from the 50's that you mentioned.
