I can get the D80 and do a few snappers though if you really wanna see..

I do, I am sure the standard lens will do at least as good as these point and shooter shots we have.

Now to wait till the sun shines (This is england, we have to HOPE !) in the morning and get some natural light.

I wouldn't think you'll notice much difference if any at the size people have uploaded pics onto here. Blow them up 5x the size, then we will see.

no no no, that isn't it. You have noticed that I am looking into a nikon DSLR right? I just want some user input and stuff. Some example shots would be awesome.

Ah, right. Unfortunately it was the worlds dullest day in England. (No, not really, but i got up at 3pm.. ) So no photo's were taken as of yet
