I just wanted to ask you guys if you know how authorities go through chat room logs that were as old as 2000?

So anything that is sent over through the internet is potentially going to be visible forever?

Do you guys know if authorities can see things like for example, web cam transfers you have done or seen? How do they get access to things like this?

As for the later...the Gov't organizations charged with monitoring our communications for signs of illegal activity can access pretty much whatever they want, whenever they want.

Keeping archives of activity is nothing new, or unheard of, either.

There's no panel of g-men sitting in a dark room with a projector watching your every mouse click and download while making notes for your eventual arrest. Relax.
