Linux on laptop

well, how about that? a laptop with Linux preinstalled. just when i thought things couldn't get better after the release of FC2... i'm actually starting to like HP now...

If they are introducing something new other than windows they shouldn't have the price so high. I mean, why would someone want to spend $60 less on something they dont even know how to use. I can't see this panning out.

Why are you complaining, Neo? I'd buy a laptop with Linux to save $60; it's not that hard to use with a little practice. Or I'd just emulate windows! The only reason HP is doing this is because they can't compete with Dell anymore, so they're trying to offer something different. Dell will NEVER include anything other than a Microsoft OS on their computers. Their too deep in Bill's pockets...

Sadly not, Dell sell Red Hat Linux with their systems as well as windows.
