Let's write a story

This is a thread where we can all work together to write a story. Each post will add one sentence to the story. If it's possible, try not to post two consecutive posts, unless no one posts for a long time. This could become very interesting.

Here are the rules:
* You have to follow the forum rules
* You can only add one sentence to the story at a time
* Your sentence has to follow the flow of the story or at least provide a sensible transition
* Try to keep it clean

Here is the beginning sentence to our new story:


Once, there was a gnarly, old man named Thomas who lived in a cave in the desert.

Thomas was, as you would call it, not a normal human being.

(I love this game, too! Was thinking of adding this, but you beat me to it )

He had wisdom and powers beyond what the general population could comprehend.

So his cave was filled with luxuries, but there was something missing in his life.

He longed for a friend, but was not good with people

Even the animals of the desert hated him.

His stinky breath and hairy nostrils seemed to chase every creature that dared to approach him away.

 

[Slaymate]

In a fit of depression he decided life was just to much so he shot himself, spraying the wall behind him with brains.

In the afterlife, he continued in his ways.

But even the Devil found him repulsive and his soul was consumed by fire ending his story forever.
