Sure thing buddy, Basicly my mates just asked on building sights if they needed any part time brick runners (carrying bricks to a brick layer) they also pushed wheel barrows of cement around the place, learned to lay bricks, build with timber an in one case learned how to lay roofing slates. James one of my friends started doing this an he spent his summers doing the same thing. He now dose restorations on properties an is making a large profit a year doing this.

Along the same lines as Chris was saying, lots of construction sites will pay for a kid to pick up scrap for them. They would rather spend a few bucks for it than to have to bother with it themselves. It doesn't hurt to ask.
