Yes, but while it may be still 'readable', it's less 'legible'.

If you don't understand the difference between the two, think of it this way. Readable is like Arial. You'd use it for a STOP sign or something of the sort. Legible is like Times New Roman...you'd use it for a book. Ever tried to read a book in a font like Arial? Would get quite annoying after a while...even though Arial is 'clearer'. Or try to imagine stop signs that are in Times with all the little tags to the end of the letters and such...less 'glancable'.
 
I think this is just a testament to the power of the human brain, if you were to feed this into any machine, spellcheck will go crazy trying to figure out what to do...

Just an interesting point on how the typical person reads. (And how the brain functions)
