If you had a 50 dollar gift card for Best Buy...

I had a $50 best buy card and looked for everything on sale.

I ended up getting a 250gb WD Passport for like $10 or somethin.

Just curious.....when would you use an mp3 player?

I always look at them in the best buy ads and stuff....but then I'm like, "What the **** would I do with it?"

If I am at my apartment, I either turn on the stereo system or listen to it on my computer.....then I am in the car I listen to my system in there. Work and school....well I learn and work.

BTW, those are really bad for your hearing. I am a hearing specialist for a real world job and that is going to bring me a lot of business in about 30-40 years when the ipod gen hits their late 40s and 50s.

Depends on how loud you listen to things. Of course if you listen to soemthing at 120dB for like 2 hours, then yes it'll damage hearing. Thats why there are disclaimers for the owner to be responsible with the volume levels and also why a lot devices have volume limiters on them.

I have had ipods for 4-5 years now and my audiology tests still come out near perfect even after working in the studio.

Whoa ! No kidding ? Good deal.

I did get a gift card for Christmas to Best Buy, was going to see if I could get a motherboard but they don't have them at Best Buy online even, I thought they might. So off to Newegg I will go. Meanwhile, I am planning to use the gift card for a hard drive.

I recently had this dilemma, and I bought the card's worth in candy and gave it to random strangers... now that I think about it, that is sick.

I picked up Red Alert 3 the other day for $30 at BB...

I have like 2 weeks to kill before my semester starts so I figured wth.
