Yea I love photoshop and fireworks but how would I know how to use them I don't have the money for them

I use 'em both. Haven't gotten around to messing with the Gimp yet. We have some really talented people here that should make some tuts for PS.

Actualy I'm willing to risk my life and say the Gimp is just as good as Photoshop.

I would second that in regards to functionality, but I feel the Photoshop interface/usability wins. You can't beat the cost of The GIMP though .
