I guess they would get germs on them, especially at a workplace or school, but brown?

yeah i like black computers which tend to be more common these days, they are stylish and you cannot notice dirt as much because of its darnk colour.

Even if they are stored in a sunfree room, they still get yellow / brown. All of the PC's i deal with (except the mac's) are now yellow or grey, or even covered in blood (long story)

if you kept it in absolutely spec-free, hygenic conditions, like how the inside of a hard drive is kept, then I don't think it will turn yellow.
