How much did you spend on your comp?

I can understand wanting the expensive video card, but its common place on this forum to recommend expensive cases, etc., I'm going to build my next comp and you can bet, my case will be a 35-40 dollar case.

How much do you guys spend on your computers?

I've spent $1200 + 170 on the video card, and am going to use this until probably 2008, by then it'll be 4 years. Thats why I'm stocking up on games for it, so I have games for the next few years.

I bought my PC for £650 in January, but have probably spent another £600 on upgrading it.

I wish i had built it now i know how too, but back then i didnt know how so just bought it.

1600 total (built myself) to include duel 18" LCD's. Most parts were bought used, second hand, referb, etc... the only thing that was new was my 50.00 case. Raidmax. but of course now looking at it you wouldn't know it... even got a zalman 7000b for 22.00 with shipping so hence what I mean... (some ebay deals just aren't bad!) LOL

My iBook was originally $1,500, but when you add up the AirPort Extreme and the 1gb of DDR that I had put in it, it all came out to around $2,250-ish. And then came the accessories... A nice case = $60, a travel mouse = $30, Logitec Z-3 2.1 speakers = $70, Epson printer = $100, and when you add all of that up, it just makes a big number that makes me wanna cry, but I'm happy with it all
