if it was just the refresh button why would you have to push shift

and by the way f5 just by itself is refresh

and when you hit shift f5 it does nothing

Pressing the Shift key clears your internet cache for page you are visiting. And on some forums, it does make the VIEW count go up.
As for JUST pressing REFESH might not.
