how to give a cat a pill vs giving a dog a pill

My Great Dane is easy to give a pill... but food?!? He is about the most picky 180lb beast I could have... Sensitive stomach, so he throws ANYTHING up if it bothers him. Hence he is spoiled rotten with all the "special" food he has to have...

same thing with my boxer hes alergic to so many thigns so he has t o have like the best of the best of food lol. we cant give him pork anymore. and last time we gave him justa litle bit of pizza and he had an upset stomach. he doesnt liek dog treats tho, unless they are liek thos dried jerky's we actually give him cat treats he really likes them lol. so we call him a *****.

actually the first couple steps work, just forgot the last one

after prying the cats mouth open by pressing the cheeks near the corners of its mouth and stuffing the pill in all you have to do is let it shut its mouth then blow in its face---it instinctively causes them to swallow

after several times doing this the cat will usually get used to it and fight it much less, they can be trained just like any other animal

haha the only solution not mentioned. still more effort tho.

What effort? Crushing a pill is easy, just use the back of a spoon and grind it for a couple seconds.

its still more work then just giving it to the dog, not much effort but effort none the less.
