How did you acquire your PC?

I always set money aside for my computer parts that i can buy. but i usually upgrade slowly, hence me still having a 9500Pro inside my computer, but that will soon be a 6600GT or a vanilla 6800(if i'm lucky)

MMX (sig) - got from parents
When it died I bought an IBM from my uncle (P2, 400MHz)
I revived the MMX and bought my current computer from some guy cause I needed an upgrade ( Athlon XP 1.59GHz)
