How can I watch TV on my PC?

Hey guys i just found some old CRT my dads friend has hooked it up and it came to my head that i could watch TV i just need to find a freeware. I remember i used to watch the Fifa World Cup and the program had more channels it was all free i just dont remember a name can any of you guys help me out ?
