Hey, my birthdays comin up and i'm thinkin of buying a DDTS-100 Creative Decoder, and these logitech z-5300 speakers. i was wondering how big a room has to be for a good experience. this room is my basement, and its kinda small, prolly like 17X17 or somethin. Also, anyone who has these speakers, how long is the remote, and how long are the speaker cords?

oh cool, so the sound won't be distorted or unclear or anything? also, anyone have these z-5300 speakers or this decoder?

is this DDTS-100 the right decoder I need for a 5.1 surround system? it says it has DTS and all that other decoding stuff, but it talks about downmixing for 5.1 sources, but why would it do that if DTS is for 5.1? i'm confused.

What else will you be using this gear with?

it will probably be used with my DVD/VCR player, a PS2, maybe the tv if i can find out how, and once and a while my MP3 player.

nope, i'd used the DDTS-100 as the receiver i think.
