how big are the files? if they are to big, u can split them up with window movie maker, and burn them on diferent cds, and put them on the other pc.

Okay, I am not much of an expert on the subject, but Gordion Knot could help

um.. Gordian Knot is a must have software but it dosnt compress stuff. There are two Gordain packs one that lets you watch different types of movies (codecs) and the rip pack that lets you rip dvds... all 4-8 gb of it. If you want to send files I find it easiest to...
1. Put both computers on a network and send the files over
2. Buy an external hard drive that plugs in with usb. (that may cost a bit but well worth it)
3. Slave the hard drive with the movies to the hard drive that you want the files on
4. burn them to a dvd or cd.... use rws!

easyest way to just transfer them is to use Winrar. if u dont know... its a compresson softwere just like winzip, but bettter. in it u can specify to compress it into 700mb segments to store on cd.

or if u dont wont to burn anything, if both computers are hooked up to the net threw DSL or Cable. u can just transfer the file via a Messanger client, FTP, p2p, or whatever.

EDIT: some bum is going to ask, mayb, so...
