If you guys are in university, don't bother with these jobs. Go get a internship at a computer company. I mean like a s/w development house or some h/w company.
When I helped people with their computers during uni, I was paid $10 / job. Which was ok I guess. Off school 4-month breaks, I did programming and got paid between $40K-$50K/year (for 4 month interships).
