Have a job, hours, pay?

If you guys are in university, don't bother with these jobs. Go get a internship at a computer company. I mean like a s/w development house or some h/w company.

When I helped people with their computers during uni, I was paid $10 / job. Which was ok I guess. Off school 4-month breaks, I did programming and got paid between $40K-$50K/year (for 4 month interships).

Yep, at college internships during the summer months and longer breaks seem to be the way to go, lots of money involved there and you get a really good reference, too.

Yup forgot about that. Building up references is essential for when you finish university. So it's always good to keep it in mind - even if you are in high school ..
