Yea that was funny, sounded to me like a student (if it was real which I doubt) who was totally fed up with college and all the sudden just freaked out and basically told everyone to F*CK OFF!!! Theres no way that deserved a D, it didnt even deserve a grade, it would be a fail in my school, damn. It was even supposed to be a thesis, you would fail on length alone.. and.. no theres just no way.

If it's a real college paper, then yes, I would believe it if he got a D for that. Profs know he can't pass the class with a D, so a D is the same as an F as far as the student's concerned. Giving out D's saves face for the profs, and F's in college are really reserved for work that wasn't done (0's) and slapping down totally late work.
