let me ask all of you a question...

there is a piece of meat, beef, that has been sitting in my freezer, thoroughly frozen for almost a year, since last august to be precise. i was wondering if it is OK to eat it if i grill it thoroughly?? any ideas?

Yeah, I thought the same thing.... How bad is the freezer burn??? If its slightly freezer burnt you can always cover it in sauce.. that helps get rid of the weird taste.

Yeah, you wont get sick from it as long as it has been contantly frozen, will prolly just taste less than pleasant. Good option to use it is any dish where the flaof teh meat is heavily masked by seasoning and/or sauce.

A bit of sauce and seasoning goes a long way. I ate a few steaks that I'd frozen over a year ago and they were just fine despite being a little tough. No freezer burn on them, though; I'd packed em good.
