Being a bassist myself, it all has some great grooves, but if i was face to face with someone playing that way, i'd smack them. I'm a purist when it comes to playing style. Guitars have a pick, and fingering with the thumb and first three fingers (for strumming, at least), not all this crazy junk. Bassists have slap, pick, and fingering with two or three fingers. No beating on your instrument (especially like in the third clip) to simulate a drum.

Call me elitist, i know i am about this kind of stuff.
