the 70-400 lens I want is frickin expensive! I hate how my good camera parts will run me another mortgage payment! My Nikon 70-200 lens is ok, but I need a little more for my birding outages..

the 70-200 takes amazing pictures, but yea... sometimes 200mm just isn't enough. have you considered a 1.4x or 2x for that lens Antec? if you get a good quality one, you won't lose any noticeable image quality

i will say very nice lens tho. it really is meant for sports photography with that focal range and apature.

If I did sports photography, I'd get it if my job paid for it...then use it to capture opportune moments of time with the scantily clad cheerleaders.
