Got an Interview! Advice wanted.

Normally not a good idea to interupt the employeer at a job interview. Even if it's the correct answer.

That was my train of thought at the time. However, I knew exactly where he was going with it. He said 10.52. and sat there drawing a blank as if he didn't know which number out of the 255 choices he should pick for the third octet.

It was one of those...

"Ten, fifty two, uhhhhhhhhhhhhh......." things. So I finished the answer before-hand.
