Hi guys,
One more new product from Google. Looks like google is going to cover each and every area of Internet giving a tough comeptition to Microsoft,Yaho,AOL .
It will be a combination of keyword chat with voice capabilities.

ive been trying this out, and it seems very slick, i dont have a mic so i havent tried the built in VOIP, but i use gmail so it is nice for me that they are tied together. I havent seen a file transfer though, is it in there?

Google needs to stop this, they are growing at a dangerously large rate. I wouldn't be suprised if in ten years time the owner of google had more power and influence than rupert murdoch or bill gates

Well, just set up Gaim for it. Let's see how many people start using it. Meanwhile, I'll just keep both MSN and GTalk logged in at the same time when I use them.

Not true. Google Talk is on the Jabber protocol. Gaim works, and Google's website even has instructions for setting Google Talk up with Gaim, Adium, iChat, Trillium, etc .
