Good websites for planning a vacation

Hey fellas. What are some good websites that I can use to plan a vacation? (cheap prices and lots of options for hotels/flights, etc.)

Keep in mind that I am in Canada - if it matters. I don't like to "google" these things since I want a company that is well-known and reputable..

travelocity, http://travelocity.com/, is good. i don't know about its stake in canada, but it works nicely here in the states.

also, have you looked into priceline? i know people that have gotten some really good deals on hotels with it.

Thx man. I will check that out. I think I've seen that running on Canadian channels as well.

I don't really know much about vacation packages. It's usually better to book in advance right? (b/c the $$ is cheaper). But, the thing is I think cheap "package deals" are only available closer to the date.

advance tends to get you cheaper airfare, where booking closer to the actual date will often get you special hotel deals (where they're trying to fill up the hotel at the last minute because not enough reservations have been made).
