I have 2 fossils, one that i bought for 90 bucks back in 98 that has gone through 3 batteries and 1 crystal (got dropped) and a 2nd one that i stole from my dad because he never wore it that is dated 12/04/00 and both are still running strong and look brand new other than a few scratches on the crystal. I had to buy fossil because its one of the few watches that you can get with a solid stainless steel band for under 100 bucks. If i wear a watch that isnt stainless steel or precious metal i will eventually wear off the plating.
