Gotta love it when a boss comes to you and says ok... this monitor and docking station are fried... if i put them in the trash, some user will probably get them out and try to use them.....so i want you to make sure that they can tell it is physically messed up.... so i went in the lab. broke a few pieces of plastic off, got the soldering iron and joined a few solder joints just for fun because i was in the mood to solder.... 2 days later, a user calls our help desk and says that his laptop is making a funny smell.....our tech goes in,, low and behold, he is using the docking station that i messed up. his motherboard was dead,, probably because of the solder that i put on the pcb in the docking station. Too funny, i sure hope that taught him not to take stufff out of the dumpster
