When I had just installed Windows 98SE I could run 3DS Max 5 perfectly every time. BTW it's 256MB RAM.
But after installing a few new programs such as WMP9 and Winamp it won't run. It is because system resources are being used up. But I don't have it running when I start the computer up.
And I tried clearing stuff in MSCONFIG startup and stopping stuff running in the task manager but it didn't work. The programs must be running stealthily or something. It's definately system resources nothing else because in the previous installation of 98SE before I reinstalled it it didn't work even just after installation because there were too many programs.
