it's normally blocked either by firewall or your ISP doesn't allow it..or you're behind a router thats blocks it.....try pinging me. go to start>run>type CMD

then in the command prompt type "ping 67.140.207.219" without the quotes

if it is timing out for you... you need to turn off passive mode in your ftp client.

123ms is the average time. I do have a 'router' even though these home ones are not a router, with its built in firewall. I do not use any software firewalls.
