Please we all can sit here and rattle of the cars we have owned and the issues we have had with them. I know more people that have had issues with Ford than Chevy. While for others it will be the opposite.
Get over it. I have seen everything from a Escort to a Ranger to a Explorer all die before 50K miles were hit. I have seen Fords go to 100K miles. I have seen Chevy's that are nothing but trouble from the minute they are driven off the lot to some that have gone 200K+. I had a Dodge that went for 200+ before i got rid of it for a Chevy.
So yeah we all can gripe about 1 over the other. It is no different than PC parts. Everyone has their own experience. No 2 people will have the same experience. Heck i had a Great Uncle that worked for Ford and a Uncle that worked for Chevy. They are both good vehicles if taken car of properly. buying used you never know if the previous owned maintained the vehicle right. Just like buying PC parts used.
So dont get into "ZOMG NOT CHEVY" or "ZOMG NOT FORD" cause plain and simple, unless you buy the vehicle brand new off the lot and you know every single mile on that car, there is no guarantee that it will last.
