Simple google search on free fonts will point you in the right direction.

From there, it really comes down to whether or not the font is lienced or not. (As some fonts are you do need to pay to use)

What sort of font styles are you after??? I might be able to help.

I'm not really after any in particular I just don't have very many to work with

Well, google is your best friend to start off with. I built up my font collection that way.

Just remember to back them up.

Ok, so i downloaded some free fonts and I was wondering how I apply them in photoshop 6.0. Can anyone help please?

if windows, go to settings-> control panel -> fonts
then import the fonts (ie. select the files to import)

note, if I were you.... for like $5 or less, you can go to most any computer retail store, pick up a font CD with 5000 fonts...

is much better, easier than browsing free websites where pop-ups, viruses, spyware, and all that crap is at every turn

http://www.acidfonts.com - this a realy good place for picking up some different kinds of fonts. all free too. Free is good! Spyware / Virus Free too!
