Why would they threaten a market that brings in so much profit with something as insane as dropping the compatibility that made it such a success? The first iPod was only Mac compatible, and the market exploded once the iPod was made available for Windows, simply because that OS still has its huge market share.

I just wish they'd release iTunes for Linux so I could stop using GTKPod actually...
