FIOS vs directv

Anyone who has had both which do you think is the better of the 2. Does FIOS ever have outages like directv can on occasions?

Strong weather generally means sat outage. FIOS on the other hand.....well when we had it for 4-5 months straight it never went out...period.

With satellite you will have a RIDICULOUS FAP (Fair Access Policy). You will be better off with FIOS, ****, dial up can pull 5GB a month if it can stay on 24/7.

Well, they both offer both

But FIOS would be a better option for either IMO.
