eBook Stores?

I am pretty sure I am getting a Kindle, and I was wondering where is the best place to get eBooks besides, Amazon.com and Barnes&Noble?

Also, does anyone know where you can get eTextBooks? I would much rather get my college books on my eBook. (Less to carry around campus all day).

I would love to get my mom a Kindle but NewEgg doesn't sell them (I have an account there).
