DVD+R iso different to DVD-R iso

I never thought there was a difference with the ISO or the image files.

Can your writer write to DVD-R media?

You should be able to burn to DVD+R or DVD-R, the only thing different I think is that DVD-R was the first format created for DVD and is compatible with all DVD players. If your DVD drive support writing to DVD-R.

the images are identical

if your dvd burner is acting funny its probably because it doesnt like that brand of blank dvd media not the "-" or "+" media type
