Yea, I got confused during the first post but I think I understand now.

Why did people even think of that? That is what our school did for my 2nd and 3rd grade years. Sometimes if you stabed it with the straw (yes you stabbed it to drink it) milk shot back out of the straw, got the front on my white t-shirt covered in chocolate milk on the first day of school.

no they do have signatures at the door, but its hard to sign, if UR NOT THERE!

I know this, that's when they take it back to the post office here as well.

usually here they just get a neibour to sign for it, and then leave a note saying that it is with the neibour.

when my dell was delivered, my neibours ended up with a big pile of boxes in their front room for several hours because we were out.
