Sooo.. how many of you guys actually "laugh" or "roll on the floor" (presumably laughing) or "laugh your ass off" (farting does NOT count) before you type it's corresponding acronym on a message board. :)

Ya know.. LOL, ROFL, etc.. :D

rofl means i actually cracked a smile...lol means that it was sorta funny...LOL is the same as rofl, and ROFL means i was actually emitting human laughter.

for me:

lol=I smiled and I'm just humoring you.

rofl=I chuckled

LMFAO!@@!11= I just fell out of my chair.

:)

ROFL!

Haha, I laughed out loud when I read "farting does not count" so I posted ROFL.

Lol usually means I either smiled a little, or barely cracked a smile.

Well anywyas = ROFLMFAOOMGWDFBBQ = Well...you get the idea ;)

lol is the only thing I ever use....all the other crap is unnecesary ESPECIALLY that "ROFLMFAOOMGWDFBBQ" you do just to annoy everyone.

I use lol to imply humor or amusement, if I actually laughed I will generally say "Oh man I was actually laughing over that one"

^ do these letters actually stand for anything :eek:

I actually rarely ever literally "laugh out loud." I may find something very funny, but only smirk.

Like what Nubius said, it is really just a way to get the point across that your found something funny.
