I made an internet video, that seemed to be very popular.
But the video ended up on (not all sources, but a good amount):
ebaumsworld.com
msn.ca
compfused.com
wtfpeople.com
foundrymusic.com
youtube.com
stupidvideos.com
Out of the 8 that have the video posted, I only specifically gave it to 2 of them. The rest of them used it without permission. And out of the ones that used it out of permission, 3 stipped the video of all credits.
Ebaumsworld was one of websites that stripped the credits, I cleared this up with them and they replaced the video with a version that leaves the credits intact.
Now another website that I am not going to name.......They have my video on there, and the credits are stripped. But they made sure they put their watermark on the video. I asked them to either remove it or I will give them another copy that was just a simple line of credits at the end of it. They basically told me to **** off.
Because of that, I want to take them to court for stripping the video of all credits, and for using it to make advertising profits off of. The video received about 5000 hits on that particular website.
My guess is that they make 25 cents for each view because this website is completely filled with ads and popups (porn popups to be exact)
So do you guys think i have a case?
