Do excessive advertisements actually have opposite effects? Im currently taking a poll to see if the Coke, Viagra, and now Overstock commercial are getting everyone to like there product or having an adverse effect. I was setting in my Agriculture class and my teacher was talking about how when someone markets there animals than they need the perfect advertising plan to keep the product in demand and I thought about excessive advertisements so I decided to see what other people think about it.

I HATE the overstock commercials....it's so freakin stupid...it's about a website that's basically a mail order catalog and they advertise it like a sex website "It's all about the O" GEE, wonder what that's subtly referring to...crap is annoying as all hell.

Sorry for the rant, but you mentioned that website and, GEH, I hate that stupid ass commercial.

Just depends on that the product is and how they are going about adverstising it.

Like if the Ad is annoying, Eg. Jamster, then I would mostly avoid the product.

Yah like the new ford commercials i saw 3 of them flicking through the channels it is a annoying song and a stupid add.
the song goes:

ride it, ride it, ride it like a ford!
(insert stupid beat)
u go to ride it, ride it!

sorry 4 the rant but it is getting on my nerves.
