I'm good at sports, and i'm a geek.......so far so good in high school.....i'm in 10th grade btw

Oh, I almost forgot, I hated school so much that I didn't even go to my own graduation...or prom...or any other functions. I picked up my diploma the next day instead and boy was Mr. Fargo (butt head principal) was so furioius.

Heh well, I hated it so much, I quit.. plus I took care of my mom whom had heart disease. She passed away in '98. I got my GED in 2001. Good enough for me.

I finished school and took my A-levels 5 years ago.. i hated school and really only enjoyed going to see my mates... however one gap year in australia, a degree and a masters degree later I am now gutted to be finishing uni. Uni was so much better than school and anyone put off from uni because they hated school should know that its not the same at all.

best of luck to anyone going to uni this year, hope you all love it as much as I did

I absolutely hated high school, especially where I live. It's mostly dominated by spoiled rich kids who will only be your friend if you wear expensive clothes and have an expensive car. I was raised on the poor side and was treated like an outcast. Thank the gods those days are over... but I made it through remaining thankful for everything I had: a roof over my head and a family that cared about me.
well I have to deal with rich liberals who are stuck up and think that the rest of us can afford to pay for a $25 million dollar high school(it is still under construction as I speak and as i attend lol), only to be followed by a new elementary school(another $10 to $20 million). I don't really hate it, freshman year sucked, but now I am a senior, so all is good :p

I got top marks for maths in year 9, people in my class that year really sucked, and I was the opposite, I got 100% (or close to it) in every test when everybody else failed most of theirs

in my current class (year 10) every time I go to sit down, whenever I'm next to somebody they are like "cool I've got Chris next to me" and whenever the teacher asks a question, people are like turning to me

in my school it seems that even though I'm not one of the "cool" kids who smoke and stuff, people like me

I am not a 'typical' nerd, I am pretty good at some sports, I play Basketball every week, was in 2 Grand Finals (and won one)
IT isn't my only hobby, I like flying, and I have pilot lessons every now and again

oh and I beat bullies up.

in VCE I am aiming for DUX and at least a 95 (the highest possible is 99.75, not 100 for some reason) ENTER score with the subjects English, Maths Methods, Specialist Maths, Phisics, IT units 3 & 4 (year 12 IT in year 11) and Chemistry
currently I am doing year 11 IT in year 10

Now that I can compare... from the ages of 12 to 16 years I was in secondary school. I was one of the popular ones, but at the end of school it really doesn't matter. I soon split from my friends at school and started studying physics, something I would have been picked on at school - I was never picked on because I used to just fight everyone :D which isn't smart now, but at the time it put bullies in their place. I was never a bully, or picked on anyone.

Friends in school don't matter as soon as you leave, I still have my closest friends but their interests are completely different; but I have known them from the age of 3 upwards and they only live houses away :)

I would have to say, I probably enjoyed school; I had lots of girlfriends and I played sports most of the time.

I'd have to say I didn't like highschool. I too went to a rich school. I was probably one of 30 kids out of 250 in my grade that didn't have a car to drive to school.

I had a really good group of friends to hang out with though. We were the cool geeks. I think the popular kids kinda envied us because we didn't care what people thought of us. We just did our own thing. Any of my free time at high school was spent in the video editing room or on the computer using 3dStudioMax. I was actually in a class of just my buds, 4 of us. The teachers allowed us to self teach ourselves 3dStudioMax. All we ever did though was watch Star Wars and have lan games. We owned the room, posters on the walls, our own chairs, own computers. It was awesome. Miss those days.

I wish I had experiences as great as those, the only thing I did with computers in high school was set them up because the school sysadmin didn't want to.

Wow! What I class as fun is lots of girls :p

I wasn't interested in computers at all at school.
