Arnt speakers just like giant magnets? So having it that close to the screen cant be that great right?

I figured it would... but for some reason these don't... the subwooffer makes it turn purple, but these have never done it..

Shielded speakers dont do that.

Mine are shielded and are made to be next to the screen, but because theyre monitoring speakers for studio use.
